Stupid

Its funny and at the same time fascinating to observe how one manages to be stupid at times. Its like a guerrilla attack - completely unsuspected. There you are, cruising through a smooth conversation, each word, each thought carefully chosen - and suddenly... bam! You mess it all up by saying the stupidest thing possible. And then there is the combination of awkward silence, a bad joke to mend things and that fake air of casual carelessness.

Though what makes me curious as a kid is that - did the other person find you stupid too? Or just cutely candid?
